Sivley Tower Imaging Fit-up

Year Completed: 2023
Project Size: 1,200 sqft

Huntsville Hospital's imaging department addition on the ground floor of the Ortho/Spine Tower, also known as Sivley Tower, adds significant advancements to its diagnostic capabilities. The new tenant fit out facilities include a CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound room, X-ray, and a designated space for a future fluoroscopy X-ray, along with a small patient holding area and essential clinical support infrastructure. These state-of-the-art imaging modalities, now serving outpatients and equipped with medical gases, enable Huntsville Hospital to care for inpatients in Sivley Tower as well. With the addition of a dedicated CT in the tower, the hospital continues its commitment to delivering top-quality care and advanced services to the community.

The newly established Patient Holding area comfortably accommodates both inpatients and outpatients, providing a dedicated space where nursing staff can prepare patients for procedures in the Imaging Department and monitor them post-procedure. Although no procedures are performed directly in this holding area, each patient space features medical gases, physiologic monitors, and ample room for two visitors. This projects marks a new chapter in Huntsville Hospital's comprehensive, patient-centered care.
